Our Story

Marie Scott Redevelopment was born from both experience and vision. Founded by Jeffrey and Lynn Hall, the company’s name comes from their middle names — a personal reminder that everything they build is rooted in who they are.

 

For much of their early adult lives, Jeff and Lynn rented and moved often, struggling to save for a down payment or qualify for financing. Those challenges gave them a deep empathy for families and individuals facing the same uphill climb toward homeownership. Lynn’s passion for seeing distressed homes come back to life — inspired by her favorite HGTV transformations — sparked the dream that would one day become Marie Scott Redevelopment.

 

As their children grew and began moving out, Jeff and Lynn took a hard look at their future. Years of full-time ministry had given them purpose, but not the financial stability needed for retirement. They wanted to build something that created wins for everyone — a business that could provide opportunity, stability, and hope. Real estate redevelopment became that bridge.

 

Their logo, a butterfly, perfectly symbolizes their mission: new beginnings — for properties, for buyers and sellers, for contractors, for neighborhoods, and for themselves. Every project is a fresh start and a chance to transform into something new.
